Dispatcher/Telecommunicator

Job Description

The City of York is accepting applications for the position of Dispatcher/Telecommunicator.  Responsible for answering and dispatching calls for law enforcements and other emergency and non-emergency personnel and services in an accurate, timely, and professional manner; maintain accurate and complete dispatch records, and performs related work as required.  

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma/GED or equivalent vocational/technical diploma supplemented by previous training and minimum one (1) year administrative, telecommunications or data entry experience.  Prefer certification in NCIC operations or other police communications.

Job Type: Full-time 

Pay: $38,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
