The City of York Police Department is excited to host a one-week Youth Summer Camp from June 2 to June 6, 2025, running daily from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
This camp is designed for children ages 8 to 12 and offers an engaging introduction to various areas of public safety. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with professionals from the York Police Department, Fire Department, Rock Hill Bomb Unit, EMS, and even see a helicopter from Atrium Health’s Med Center Air.
Each day will begin with a short morning meeting, followed by outdoor activities such as football, softball, and basketball. Special guest presentations will take place each day. After lunch, campers will enjoy additional games or movie time.
Meals will be provided by York School District #1, and School Resource Officers from the York Police Department will be actively involved throughout the week.
Parents are responsible for dropping off and picking up their child(ren) at the York Recreation Center. Drop-off is at 9:00 a.m., and pickup is at 2:00 p.m. daily.
